Floor Le Coultre

Violinist Floor Le Coultre was appointed Young Music Talent of the Netherlands and completed her studies with a distinction for 'compelling playing'. Floor is a much sought-after chamber musician and plays in various permanent ensembles. She is also invited to chamber music festivals such as the Stift Festival, Aurora Festival, Chamber Jam, Classic Con Brio. She has performed as a soloist with various orchestras and since 2012 Floor has regularly worked with chamber music ensembles such as New European Ensemble and LUDWIG.

Floor collaborated on several CDs with, among others, Barbara Hannigan and Sarah Ouakrat. In 2020, her debut CD Cuckoo was released with guitarist Martin van Hees.

Floor is a teacher at the Davidsbündler Music Academy in The Hague. Floor gives masterclasses at festivals such as Aurora, Stift Musical Encounters and in Cividale, Italy.
